MPC1000 RAM and CF card Recommendations

So the Kingston 133X ELITE PRO 16GB seems to work in the 1000 with JJOS...how about the 500? Has anyone used it with more than 4GB on it?

Is there anything you have to do to make the expanded memory become active? I've inserted the chip and my mpc recognizes the 128 mb but my sample time is still only 10 seconds

Yo, you can scroll over the 10s and use the data wheel to increase the value. Mine goes up to 11m 44s now.

sorry i have 128 akai's ram inside my mpc 1000 if i buy a 256 ram module i have 64 mb more, then?

and about CF waht i have to read in specs for buy the biggest one, and i can use all memory inside for example in 32 g?

i know its answered here but i want to confirm , can anyone doit?

no, you already have the maximum - 128MB

can u explain why 256 mb then? i think its because its a 3rd party ram but im not sure.

Akai Ram only reads half, thats why you need 256 mp . And mine has 23 minutes sampling time.

the maximum RAM in an MPC1000 is 128MB

if you have the Akai 128MB RAM expansion, you have the maximum

if you buy an unofficial (non-Akai) RAM expansion the MPC1000 only recognises half of it, so 256MB gives you 128MB

but if you have 128MB then you have 128MB

I don't understand how you think adding 256MB to 128MB would give you 64MB more, but that's wrong, so forget it
