the OS for the 1k should be here within 2 weeks. anytime between now and then.
damn i hate to interrupt and ask more questions about the new os. but do you think they fixed the bug glitch. haha im really diggin on it. for more dirty downtempo type of ish. if i had to sacrafice the hd and the supposed timestrech zone or whatever. i think i would hold out on those features for this glitch.

Sparq, tell that to your Akai contact.... or maybe don't tell them anything about this 'glitch' at all. Otherwise some Japanese nerds will be working overtime, and it's bye bye for this great bug in the new OS

fix the glitch, i don't even think akai knows about the glitch. if they don't know about it, how can they fix it. unless they wrote over the code of the current os with the new os code. ....don't know.

I don't think that it's even possible to fix this. The samples are storred digitally, so as you pitch it up, resample it, and then pitching it down again there will be some missing data.. I think it's kinda how the Bit grunger works. shorting down the Bit resolution. If they should fix this in any way, they would do it with a time-strech-like effect. And i can't see the point in that one. So I don't think ya'll have to worry.

You're missing the point. We are not talking about making lofi samples by resampling at a higher pitch. We are talking about THIS GLITCH
Which in theory is a bug (it seems it doesn't work on the 2500).
