PAD PROBLEM. HELP!

this is a weird one

i purchased an mpc1000bk off ebay from a store,

pad 4 sounds about -20db compared to the others, i have tested it at full level, and with the same sample on different pads, its just this pad


any one know whats going on??

please i need to know weather to return it or not, so shit that i might have to send it back to canada after having it an hour and saving for 2 years for it...

is it a red and blue one?? if so you may have faulty pads, search this forum. other members will kno more.

end of the day, if it doesn't work send that ish back and get your cash, you haven't saved up for faulty equipment.

But that, as has been said on here a billion, million, trillion, gazzilion times, doesn't matter because the first blacks had the same unstable pad design as well.

If you can jiggle the rubber on one pad and the others do not move, you probably have the bad pads because they are all separate units (new ones are a single unit and should move together).

This is a well known issue and if you got a unit with an old pad set I would send it back as fast as you can -- especially if one of them is already dead. It would be one thing if the seller disclosed the faulty hardware and priced accordingly but if you paid for a working unit, no way. REJECT.
