AKP. files ?

Hi Ive just got a massive download of wav samples and it has akp. prgm files similar to the ones u can make on blue box . are these akp files compatible with a mpc 1000 as ive put them on my disk withe the relevant wav files but they wont open?

Based on whatyou posted, then no....... I only know that .wav files work.... See if you can open them with audacity and export them as wav if they do... That way you just converted them to usable files.... Hope this info helps.

Those AKP files won't work in MPC 1k, They are akai program files for the 2500, 4000 I think. You can load the samples of that file and assign to pads in a new pgm on 1K

bluebox can convert akp to pgm if I remember correctly

don't count on it to work 100% though
