Instrument programs?

Is there such thing in the akai OS? I want to be able to selectively sample notes from a melodic instrument and pitch shift them appropriately to set up a MIDI-triggerable chromatic scale.

sure.

you can manually assign a sample to each pad on each pad bank
and then manually change the pitch of each sample on each pad on each pad bank to the desired semitone

twenty minutes later, you'll have your instrument program.
