wuddup yall..
I thought Id post a little something letting yall know those were my first 2 tracks I have completed with my new 1000 so dont expect too much from them if you know what i mean..
I have been a lover of beats forever now but I just started producing them just a couple weeks ago.
I sold my fantom s keyboard back to guitar center for a 1000 bucks cause I couldnt even figure out how to loop decently. I researched on the net for the best beat box ..first i was gonna get a mc909..then i heard a grip of bad shit about it , then was the yamaha rs700 , then I discovered on the net all the stuff I heard about MPC's was true....its an industry standard and boy do I believe it after messing around with it...I loooove it.

ok, first this is in the wrong place. It belongs in the "Your Music" section.
Second: I think that I am talking for everybody when I say that:
it is Highly annoying for a person to keep bumping thier post up, its almost like one is starving for attention.
But other than that welcome to the forum, ill check your stuff out soon and get back to you

you had a fantom, AND an mpc

and that's what you do with it? a $75 drum machine would have been the smarter purchase (at least until you get your musical thing together).

i not trying to be mean... but these jams need some work homes

and stop calling it "producing," you arent producing anything but wack beats

cowbell and shaker, and the thing aint even in time. sounds like you fell asleep on the mpc - with it recording. and you had a nightmare. see that button in MAIN? it says "TC" on it... USE THAT THING.

 i hope you can take this info contructively.. i appreciate that you're loving what youre doing. to a degree that's really what all this is about. keep working on it and you'll have your thing together in no time

after re-reading this post in preview: see, now i feel like a dîçk for just being honest. so take this info however you like. im just some stupid a$s in cyberspace somewhere, in fact ignore me cuz in a way i dont even really exist aside from the pixels on your screen. peace

I would say your beats suck......but i don't even know what that was.

Here's a hint.....go listen to your favorite song. Study the composition. Listen to it a couple times with each time picking out a different instrument sound to concentrate on with your ears. Start off with trying to recreate the drums...then start moving to the other sounds. After you do that, try a different song. Practice is everything. There's no magic industry standard box that will make you a musician.

Before you post up a track again compare it with a real song....i'm not talking about the quality of the sound.....but the quality of your composition. If I were you I would start with a Boss DR-202.

BTW, to tiger vomitt.....if you're not real with someone you do them a disservice cause they will not get better. His friends and family are probably lying to him to make him feel better.

HHTMPC: It sound like you need alot of practice, bro. Being new to the music scene (making beats and ish) is nothing to be ashame of. All of us went throu this step. I don't care if your beats are wack, you don't have experience, so thats OK.
What is not OK, is that you are trying to make an overinflated image of youself in the eyes of the others. Just like Agent725 said: its almost like one is starving for attention. . So, here is my advice: Try to satisfy yourself first, and then the others will start to dig your tracks. If you don't do it for yourself, thet what's the point? Money, Cars and Biatches ? ? :?
Another wery good advice: try to invest more time then money into to the music that you are trying to produce. Buying the best equipement will not make dope beats, but practice will.

It dont faze me what ur sayin really...i had a smile on my face readin ur comments but you gotta take into consideration that I was not really intending to make songs when i constructed these...i was just playing around
I just added some instruments and played around with the mute

Ill get better since now I can devote my time to thinking up melodys...and ull see..im pretty good at that normally you just gotta make sure to hymn it in a recorder before u forget it. I do it with my motorola v90 phone cause its handy and it sounds clear since its a phone ur recording ur voice into. (tip)

Ill make sure to have better ish before posting in the MPC FORUMS lol
thanks for ur criticism

Okay! I listened to the beats as well. To tell you the truth those are better compositions than what I had my first week or two I had with the 1000!

Look man just keep at it. It's been almost three months I got the 1000 when it first dropped, and that's when I started making beats. I have no previous musical experiece before this. My stuff isn't quite "there" yet but it's getting better.

Lastly, I gotta be real too! I was reading those posts, and I felt like some of you guys were just being a bunch of @$$holes! I didn't appreciate reading those at all! That's not the way to treat someone just starting out!

Keep doing your thing kid. With more practice you might make these guys eat their words!
