when you save a track do you make a new folder and select 'save entire memory'?

I don't care if I'm just saveing some programs , I always save entire memory. That way when you load up all you do is load the project. Makes things way easier.

mixer settings are stored in the .ALL file right? or are they kept in the .PRJ?

but yeah, this would be much simpler if you just adjusted pad levels in the program screen - the other advice given is also good practice, but I think saving entire memory when you are just creating programs is a little superfluous.

all other times (that is when you are doing *anything* other than plain program creation) though it is a good general rule
