Loop issues (need help!!!)

When I looped a sample in a 8 bar setting (or a 4 or 2 doesnt matter)
the 1st bar sounds regular
then the second bar sounds louder, then third louder and so....

I put the sample in mono setting and still having problems
please help the rookie!!!???

first, check your volumes for each event that is triggered. You can do that in the STEP EDIT, look for collumn of V:

That's velocity, same effect most of the time, but you knew that...

Can't be velocity, cuz I recorded the loop with the full level on...?

sounds like youre retriggering the sample on each measure's downbeat. but i think you would have seen that (you said you already looked in step edit)

doing that with an 8 bar sample would do what you described.

bar 1: sample x1
bar 2: sample x2
bar 3: sample x3

each time the loop is layered over itself the whole thing would sound louder.
