Midi Sync MPD 24 to MPC 1000???

I was wondering if you connected a MPD 24 to a MPC 1000 if it was perfect note match? Basically Im trying to get out of buying new pads. I tried an axiom 25 and I had to program every note(time killer). I figured it would be cheaper just to buy a trigga finger or MPD 24.

I'm in the same boat> I did the quik fix on my pads and bought a mpd16. You can only use banks A and B , But other than that its dope as hell .

I'm tryin to make some thing to house my mpc's guts with the pads from the mpd. It connects but the pads are bigger so I won't fit.
