can't open mpc2000xl ZIP on my pc...how to transfer sounds??

i archived my mpc2000xl programs onto a zip disk and now i can't get my pc to read the zip drive...anyone know the problem????[/b]

Did U format the disk in Your Mpc? Do U use Windows? Xp?

Windows can't read Mpc-format Zip-disks, so get a new, pc-formatted zip, make sure that no filename (progs, samples, ALL.s) is longer than 8 characters, resave Your stuff and voilá.

Plus U might want to save Your samples as .wav instead of .snd in order to edit them in Your PC later.
