Installing a used Hard Drive in the 1000

I upgraded my laptop's hard drive so now I have an extra hard drive. I wanted to see if I was able to install my laptop's old hard drive into my mpc and be able to work if i reformatted it. It may seem like a stupid question to some, but I just want to make sure that the previous files on my hard drive won't conflict. Oh yeah, the hard drive is a 60gb samsung hard drive if it matters...

My HDD came from a similar situation. I believe you can format the HDD using the MPC, which would wipe the drive clean (other than the p0rn, which the MPC converts into a slide show at start up).

yea bro my hdd is from an old lappy i had just layin around. you need the hdm10 kit and just format it with the mpc once its installed.
