MPC 1000 + Reaper

Hi,

first I´m from Germany and my english is ok but i am not used to the specific music sequenzer words that might exist.


Here´s my Problem

I got my Beats on an MPC 1000 made by AKAI and i like to get them into Reaper so i´m able to drop vocals on them.

What i did was Enable MIDI IN & OUT at Reapers Preferences. Connect Midi in from my USB Device ( Fast Track Pro - M - Audio ) to MIDI Out B of my MPC. Midi Out of Soundcard to Midi In 2 of MPC. I tried it with the regular beats on every MPC ( DJ Hip Hop, the first Beat on my Memory card, it made by AKAI ). The record settings i tried are:

#1 Record Input / Midi Input / All Midi Inputs / All Channels

#1 Record Input / Midi Input / All Midi Inputs / Channel 1


#1 Record Input / Midi Input / Fast Track Pro Midi IN/ All Channels

#1 Record Output / Midi Input / All Midi Inputs / All Channels



Now when i hit Record in Reaper my MPC starts playing but in the File that Reaper creates, no MIDI "Stones" are instert. I Tried it many times, played on ever pattern of my MPC and record it into Reaper... better said NOT record it... i´m gettin crazy about this.

My MPC is set on Sync in 2.
I Also tried Sync Out B
And both together.


My Midi MPC Settings are set like followed:

Active Track receive Channel: ALL

Soft thru: AS TRACK

Sequence change by program change: OFF

Pad to internal sound: On
