i need help fAST PLEASE!!!

first day with mpc 1000!!!
i love it and need help......
i layed down my drums and i just got done chopping my sample......
i put my sample on a different program then my drums, but when i go to track 4 to lay my samples down it sounds like one of the samples is playing over and over like im holding it down, but im not.....
please help someone....

perhaps on one of your tracks you have hit a pad continuously(ie for bass or whatever) and accidently hit the data wheel and moved the program to the one with the samples on it?

just check on track mute; like mute all tracks besides the drums and samples on track four.
