Old mpc 2000xl beats into mpc 1000

I still have a bunch of beats on zip made with a mpc 2000xl. How can i move them to a flashcard that i can play them in the mpc 1000?

damn ur kinna fukked...i have the same problem. i got nuff beats from my ole 2kxl and i cyan load em up. i think its time to actually buy back a 2kxl just for a week to load them back.....only prob is that i put a zip where the floppy was...so all my stuff's pon zips...wishing myself good luck finding a scsi zip drive at the same time as a 2kxl..

It's called get a USB Zip Drive and transfer them to your PC and then load them back up on to the Flash Card.

you can load the pgm files its the seq that wont load. but you can save the file on the xl as a midi file and it will work on the 1k. before i sold my xl i took a few hours to load and resave all my work as midi. that way i could load it all up on the 4k, and the 1k.
