My Factory Reset doesn't work

I tried holding down erase while powering it on but the unit keeps going to the "erase" screen.

Also, I want to install JJ os but I cant access the CF. Its a brand new CF it was accessible long enough to update the Akai OS 9about 15 min.) and now I can't save to it or access it from my pc. It says its full and I keep getting a system error when I try to save.

I'm hoping the reset will help so I can upload to JJ OS, OS1 and 2. All three are necessary right. I've done a lot of searching on the site and I've read my manual, but I think I'm too anxious to get it working that I'm not following all. Thanks in advance.

If you read the manual, you missed it. Go back. Clearly states part of your issue. Happy reading!

You are not thinking that I didn't format the card are you? I did format the CF. Or are you saying I missed something about the reset?

This is a very old post but I forgot to update in case some one else is/was having an issue. Turns out that MPC was defective. It had to be sent in. I have a new one now.
