Greetings from Helsinki!

First of all I would l like to give thanks to everybody who's been posting here lately! I've gained so much useful information by just reading the posts on this site few times a week (more like ten times a day) :) So thanks!!

And second, I know that there have been few topics very similar than this one but still i haven't find the exact info that i'm looking for so i would be really grateful if somebod helped out another mpc-newbie..again.

question:
How do you save your effect setting?
I've made a couple of beats and this far i have saved them by first saving the program and then saving the sequence. This way i have succesfully saved my samples (assigned to pads), settings in the program mode, my midi events in a sequence and even the settings in the mixer-mode.
...but not the effects...
So tell me guys, how do you save (or in what form do you save) your beats to the memory card?
Last time i tried to save a beat as a project file but didn't quite understand what happened there...

plese help.

1. Create a new directory(folder) for every song that you make....

2. then choose save entire memory

This saves everything and brings you right back to were you started when you turn on the mpc again.

Cheers :D

Yep. It makes sense.

Thanks, Sumedho!

Note that "Save Songs & Sequences" also works this way: the FX settings are part of the Song. You can even select a song in Load Menu and say "Load FX settings only". If you Save Entire Memory, that's safest, but you risk duplicating programs you've already saved elsewhere.
