Buying a Used MPC 1000.. questions.

1. Its a black MPC1000, . are the pads horrible on these things?

2. Dude says he has OSJJ2, how can I tell if it has it or not? How do I know if it is the free one or not?

1. Look at the serial number. From this serial number and up the 1k's have the new pads installed

2. When u turn the mpc on, the version of the JJ os will be displayed
