Sync mpc 1000 to cubase

I was wonderin if someone knows the setup in cubase for recording an audio track. I have my 1k midi setup and i have the audio going to my stock soundcard line in. But when i press record to rec each track it wont record. Im not sure what to do I tried a lotta shit. Anyone know the audio setup in cubase so it'll record my tracks on my mpc 1000? thanks

search on youtube, there is a video where the guy shows you exactly how to do it.
