Hey

Maybe there is something i don't understand. Is it not possible to save a song ( ONE SONG, not all sequenses and songs)?

I'll use the 1k to play backttracks (i'm a drummer) and would prefere to play them as songs and not as one long seq's or wav's (the song give me the posibility to make a quick edit before a performence). But if i only can save a song as "All seq. and song" how do i then load the songs i will need for the live performence, without making a new load between every song?

Im running Akai OS, the newest, but if i get any advantages of changing to jj os i will do that.

please help

yeah sorry,

missed that bit the first time through

have you tried scrolling up to where it says 01-Song01 in the SONG screen and just turning the data wheel? For me this lets me choose between 20 songs, all of them with different sequencer steps/arrangments

you're going to have to save the sequences along with the songs, as the songs are simply an order of sequences. What is the problem with using 'Save All' for your purposes?

do you have multiple Project files and you're trying to combine all your songs into one Project?

The problem was that i edited more than one song and therefore had a couple of songs in the memory. When i saved it, i could not differ the songs from each other, because i'ved only had the possibility to save "all songs". But i figured out that if i only work on one song and then save all songs, i could put each song to its own direktory on the harddisk. This seems to work.

But thanks again for you time :D
