my mode button stoped working and im not sure what to do now..i opened it up and checked the button underneath the plastic button and still nothing..im in the funk here can anyone suggest somthing??would it be better to send it to vst or replace the tac switch myself?

my mode button takes about 2-3 presses for it to work i think its on the way out, how would i fix it myself?

desolder the tact switch and solder in a new one. extremely easy.

take the case off of the mpc. remove the board with the transport controls on it. flip it over and desolder the tact switch in the mode location and then re install the new switch. pretty easy.
