Hi all ....
I've finally struck a deal with a guy that is selling a virtually unused MPC1000.
It is the Red/Blue unit, though, but as stated it has been used very little. The owner has upgraded it to 128 mem, and is also throwing in a 1 gig CF card, 5 sound ( single hits ) disks ... and it's boxed and has full manual.
I am aware of the pad problem that was reported on the older, non black units, but this guy has stated that there are no problems with them at all ... I will be heading over to meet him and he is more than happy for me to check the unit out fully before exchanging any monies.
Oh, yeh, the unit is costing me £350 ( about 600 $ US ).
Can you guys advise me of anything I should be checking the unit for before I seal the deal and give the guy my money on the day - your helpful advice would, as ever, be critical to prevent me making any needless mistakes.
