usb connection help...

whats going on guys?
im havin some trouble connecting my mpc to my computer. there's no problem plugging the cord in lol its just trying to get the mac to actually realise theres a "mass
storage device" connected. it may have something to do with the possibility of a faulty or damaged CF drive but im unsure of how to find out for sure. any help would great.

I think under the save menu you'll find the USB mode to put the MPC into mass storage mode. You do need to do that before a Mac/PC will see it, in case you didn't know that. You should be able to find it in the manual.

Make sure you eject it properly before you remove the cable too, or you'll risk storage media corruption.

yeh nah already know that much mate, it's just the CF drive is faulty so i think it's that thats causing the problem. i can see a damaged pin but it'snot broken it just has a crease on it as if it's been bent before. cant help me there can ya??
