Questions about the MPC 1000

I'm new here and am strongly considering buying an MPC 1000.. Just need to know a little more info before I buy one.

1) Can I chop a sample up in Propellerhead Recycle and then transfer it to an MPC 1000?

2) When I transfer a sample onto the MPC are the sounds automatically assigned to different pads?

3) I have Propellerhead Reason 4 and am wondering If I can use the MPC 1000 with this program.. If so what can I do with it?

4) I've heard some things about MPC 1000's having bad/faulty pads.. Are the ones on the black models fine?

5) Once I've recorded and created the beat on the MPC I can transfer it to the computer right?

Q1: Don't use it, so I can't give you the answer.

Q2: Not automatically, you can choose where you want to have the sample.

Q3: Same as Q1.

Q4: Don't have any problems with my pads, but I have the blue/red model.

Q5: Yes. I resample it via the output, and then I put my CF card in my PC. Maybe you can also transfer it via USB but I don't use that.

1) I dont see why not but at the same time what would be the point of buying a SAMPLER?

2) No. You will actually have to do some work

3) This has been beat to death. The key word is SEARCH

4) The black ones for the most part are all good.

5) Yes you can transfer thru the USB

1) Yes you can. I find that method faster than chopping up the sample in the MPC.
