2-track loses punch/fullness

i usually put reverb on my samples and sometimes snares.When i 2-track beats into my 003 it seems to me that the reverb gets smaller and doesnt sound as full as it was in the 1000.Eventually ill track my beats out but that would be a pain if i wanna make a beat cd.So should i not use the efx in the 1000 or am i just trippin off the fullness for no reason.I guess ill do a a/b comparison.
