Can Track Mutes be recorded as sequence data?

Um, iirc, on the MPC4k you could record track mutes to as performance data on a sequence, but this does not seem to be possible on the 1k. Can someone confirm? Or am I just missing somehting obvious? (I have scoured the manual).
