to check ur OS, hold down the WINDOW key, then turn on ur mpc. it will then tell u which OS is detected in the system. and im not really understanding ur second question.

my second question: i saved a sequence, turned off the mpc, came back, deleted the sequence, made another with the same name, saved it, turned it off, came back it was there, turned it off and came back anad the one that was there before was back; has this been happening to any1 else, am i doing something wrong? and how do you delete sshit from the cf card?

yo sumthin similar happenes to me all the time ill save a sequence and turn it off,then turn it back on the sequence will have missing sounds or wont work at allill turn it off and turn it on and itll work

that was happening to me because I would use a sample (not in the program) and then I would forget to save the program with the sample. So when I turned it back on I had to load the sample and then the sequence was the way I saved it. I'm not sure if this is the problem you're having, but hope this may help- peace

yeah this happens to me a lot. I can't tell what I'm doing wrong. I've tried loads of ways... like saving each programme seperately, then each sequence, then save the project (entire memory). But next time i loaded the project loads of samples didn't load with it. Had to then reload the programs and ... yeah.... its a whole roundabout of ilogical fun aint it!

yeah it can be a pain in the ballz whenever I work on something I save the program everytime that way if you changed anything in the program it will be there next time. Then also I save all sequences and songs. So far it's been working out.
