HELP!

This keeps coming up and its pretty much taking all my storage space and i cant load any samples.
Im not running JJOS because im just trying to get the whole jist of the MPC down pat.
I have read my manual over and over and tried to find anything on the internet but nothing helps. It says that it is taking up 999.9MB of space?



if any one can help id be stoked.

Interesting, maybe try to send all the samples to your PC/mac, then format your CF card, then start from scratch.

Can you format the internal?..........


I wouldn't be afraid of the JJos.........Really theres not so much of a difference that you wouldn't be able to navagate it...........Just gives you a couple bells and whistles and makes trimming a lot easier.


Plus loadin the jj might solve your prob. .....Akai os sucks!........in my opinion.

Yea I've deff Formated the internal before.......My machine still works so I guess it worked aswell.....


But on the real.....Just go with the JJ, It'll fix your prob...........And add some feng shui to your work flow!......

sounds like a CF issue or could be a ram issue... try either one...

yeah, thanks for the help everyone.
I pretty much went and re-formatted my CF and reloaded all my samples back onto there and it seems to be workign a treat....
the only thing is though that it still come sup with the picture i posted before(up top)
and still says that its taking up 999.9MB :S
which is odd because im running a stock as a rock MPC1000 with the base 16MB RAM and no hard drive. So there is no way 999.9MB could be taken up.........
But im getting the JJ OS ASAP and upgrading to 128MB.

sounds like an un seated ram card or a software problem. i`d re boot to factory settings
