Hello, I'm new here!
First off I'll admit that I don't own a 1000 yet, but am planning on purchasing one in the next few weeks. But first I have to ask a question that's been bugging me, because it's such a problem with my Korg Electribe ES-1, and I'm hoping the 1000 doesn't work like this.
Say you copy a pattern and make a variation on it, like add a drum fill or something, or just change the beat up a little. So you've got this pattern that's based off another pattern, following me so far? Now say you decide that the high hats are a little too loud so you turn them down a little bit. Here's my question: am I going to have to turn down the high hat in every pattern in the song, or is the mixer like, universal, so when I turn the high hat down it's applied to every pattern that has that sample?
I didn't quite understand the architecture of the mixer as it applies to sequences and tracks so I figured I'd better ask here before I bought it. Cause on my Electribe, if I make a variation of a pattern and I decide to lower the volume or pan of something, I have to go through every pattern and adjust the sample so all the patterns are consistant.
I hope I'm wording this right so you can understand it.
Thanks to replies, peace!
