Best / Prefered Built In Compressor Settings MPC1000

Hiya all,
Just a quick question, I was just wondering whats the usual settings that people use for the compressor in there mpcs? Is there a good "default"? I really dont know much about compressing & would just like some settings that would usually do a good job, overall..

the compressors settings in the machines aren't very good i mainly run my mpc through a hardware compressor or use my DAW for the compression i need.
