MPC 1000+Pro Tools+EZ Drummer?

Can anyone walk me through the best way to make sequences on my MPC 1000 using Pro Tools and EZ Drummer? Will I need a "General MIDI File" app in addition to what I already have? EZ Drummer has a user MIDI files area but I have no idea how to make one. I want to use the pads on the MPC to make the beats I want using the samples from EZ Drummer Drumkit form Hell so I can use all the awesome fills that it has. Does anyone want to help me? I will also need a basic walk through of getting my MPS hooked up MIDI style with PT. Thanks for looking!

You shouldn't expect anyone to walk you through all that stuff on your first post dude.

I suspect you have little knowledge of working with the tools you have, which means you have an awful lot to learn!

Fortunately for you, all of your questions are asked around here on a regular basis and can be unearthed with very little effort.

I would suggest looking around in the history of the 'Production Techniques' and 'Studio Environments' forums and get busy with your manuals/ PDF's.
