i just got my mpc and ive now bumped into a strange "bug" as it may seem.
i have JJOS1 and ive heard about it having the odd bug but not sure what.
1.so i chopped up a few beats to create a kit using my pc (all normal)
2.i saved the wav files in my internal hard drive.
3.i set up my pads to trigger the sound (not really rocket science altho i had to correct the pitch)
4.i set up q-link to pitch bend
5.programmed a beat with maximum velocity in step seq
played back only to find ITS A TENTH THE ORIGINAL VOLUME/VELOCITY of hitting the pad!!!
ps. i have checked & double checked my sample volumes/velocity.. my track velocity is still quiet even at 200:
this is really bugging me. i have not had any luck finding out the cause or cure to this so please help me find a way to get around this because it has randomly decieded to play back at a normal level but my recent programmed beat is now quiet as a mouse.
