unique situation I got a few questions that I need answered.

Alright I recently picked up a MPC 1000 for $550 and budget wise I really shouldn't have bought it lol but it was too much of a steal so that should explain why I cant just go out and buy a mixer and more cables.

Here is what a I got already:

MPC 1000
2 digital I/O SPDIF cables
2 Midi Cables
1 USB cable
2 1/4 cables
KRK Rokit 5s
E-MU 0404 USB Interface ( no 1/4 inputs for some reason only outputs for monitors )
Behringer UMX 49 Midi Keyboard

Okay first problem is basically what I want to do but haven't found out how to do it anywhere I been searching for hours I want to go Digital SPDIF from my MPC into my USB Interface where I have my monitors plugged into, I want to get the MPC sounds into my monitors through my Interface so I don't have to keep unplugging my monitors and switching them over to my mpc when I want to use that.

Second problem is how to track into my DAW, what kinda input and output am I looking to do here? remember I can't go 1/4 in but I can go SPDIF in will that work if so how could I set that up?

I know a lot of you will just say buy a mixer and some 1/4 inch joints but I am BROKE. So I gotta work with what I got you feel me?

After I got all this squared away can I record reason sounds into my MPC via a midi controller? I heard you can and than someone said you can't so I don't know.

Please help

I did for the most part and it doesn't say anything about my situation really unless I am missing it.

try being a little helpful if your gonna reply.

Not for nothing but had you read the manual or even read the interface you would see that there is indeed 1/4 inputs....

Haha word I didn't think of using that I was just looking for actual 1/4 inputs lol damn but I can use the line in I guess I need to buy XLR male to 1/4 figured that out last night and I need 2 if I wanna track stereo and record all my pans and everything correct?

but I was hoping I wouldn't have to buy more cables and I could just use my SPDIF cables but thats not working right so I guess I will go buy those XLR male to 1/4 cables.

and as far as Reason sounds into the MPC is it possible? I can't afford a workstation right now so I gotta use something of this nature.

Yup, those XLR inputs are actually Neutrik plugs--they take XLR and 1/4 plugs.
