Replacing the jog wheel

Hey everyone, i'm still relatively new to the mpc 1000 and after using a purchased used one, my jog wheel has gone wonkey.
It wobbles when I turn and skips digits. Also, if I leave it alone on a digit sometimes it will switch on its own because it's so sensitive. Because of this, it obviously needs to be replaced. What part do I get to replace it?

Seems pretty cheap in price to fix such a huge problem.

thats exactly what mine does. only way worse. sometimes i cant get it where i want.

like it goes from 1 to 3 and its sometimes so hard and a pain to get it to 2.

^^ Try akai directly if the part is on back order. You could also order the entire pcb board seeing as how it isnt much more than the encoder. plus you would have extra buttons etc. for spare parts from your old pcb board.

im broke my dude. i cant afford the pcb board.
