Hello all, I dont think i have ever posted in here before but hopefully you can help me with my question. I basically have a question about mpc/microkorg midi hookup.

I have the midi going to and from the korg and mpc properly, when i play the korg and record i can see the notes in the step edit screen on the mpc.

I know that when you hook up midi like this you need a mixer for the audio of the korg. However i have the audio running to my mBox in hopes of having the audio come out through protools. BUT, when i do this i am not getting any sound in protools.

I guess my question is can i simply substitue my mbox for a mixer?..and if not, once i have a mixer, how do i get the audio signal to then go into protools?

Please help me out...i have been struggling with this for about a month now and i just want to get back to making beats...thanks in advance.peace
