The only thing I hate about my 1000 is it clips internally. Especially on lower frequencies. This pissed me off constantly because it takes what would be a beautiful 808 or kick, then clips the **** out of itself once you pitch or filter it. None of my other machines do this... Any reason this machine does this to me ALL the time?
Yes I know how to sample. It's an INTERNAL clip. Which distorts the sound, and not in a good "dirty drums way", but a full 10 k clip. The only resolution I've found is to filter way down there at 10 with a LPF.
Nym? Others? It this gear too new school for a real gangsta?
