BARELY Any Sound From Keyboard To MPC

Ive got a keyboard that Ive been trying to get hooked up. I finally got all the hardware and cables straightened out, but now the only sound I can get from it is barely even "hearable". All volume is full blast.

ALSO, It doesnt respond to an instrument change. Only plays one.

im no expert, but i think your keyboard needs to be multi timbral. with my motif rack, each sound needs to be on its own midi part. like 1a, 2a, 3a etc.
