New Pads from MPCStuff

For those of you contemplating whether or not to fix your individual pads on your 1000 ...
DO IT.

I ordered 4 pads to replace some worn out ones. They're super easy to install. Desolder yourself, then solder on to the new pads. Pop them back in and SNAP... your shiz will feel brand new. They respond so well that it makes me want to replace all of my other pads too. (plus you'll save your ass in fees from someone doing it for you)

Unfortunately the next day after installing my pads my data wheel started bugg'n on me. Just ordered a PCB board from MPC Stuff to replace all those switches, etc without having to do it myself. The board seems the easiest to replace.

while youre spending money indiscriminately, why not just get the full pad fix? your new individual pads will only break again. but if you insist on doing it that way, i have some pads for sale that are not broken, and ill charge you a lot less than they will... look at my signature.

Indiscriminately is subjective, my friend. Some people have had some bad experiences with the, some not so much. My other pads are workable and I didn't feel like dropping all that coin up front to get a couple pads fixed (and upgrading). Therefore, in my opinion it was the right thing to do. However, if and when I see more pads failing I'll probably make the jump. But for now, its good.
