automated track mute?

so i entered the track mute screen, i hit record and i played my mutes into the sequence while recording. when i play back, nothing changes. when i enter step edit mode, i can see where i muted tracks, in the order i wanted them muted too, but i still hear no change. am i doing something wrong?

i think you need to turn your events ON in the track mute screen up in the top right of the screen.

werd, im not using the jj os. i probably should rite? i cant figure out though, why akai would make the option available in the step edit screen but not able to use it during play back...

i actually have the same problem. my track mutes show up on the stepedit but nothing more.
also run akai os 2.12 :(

it shouldnt matter what screen im in, if im in the seq screen or the mute track screen or the step edit screen it should mute either way.

what are you doing rich? i dont get your repost...
