Synchronisation doesn't work

Hi,

I try to use the synchronisation beetween my mpc and cubase SX2.
I Know that cubase have to be plug in Master and not in slave because it doesn't work .......( is it true ?)
So,
i have a problem when i try to configure my mpc to receive the data of synchronisation. I readed the documentation and did all that is write. Like this :


But nothing appear near the bpm information, i have alway the tempo information like 120 but not (EXT).
Do you know why ?
Maybe is a bug of my mpc , i hope no ?

Ok i've updated my OS in 1.04 and eveything is correct now.
Cubase in master and MPC in slave.

So is'it normal when i push the play button on cubase the sequenceur of the MPC start to run in 1.01.01 ?

im not sure i understand your question, but the tempo field doesnt change to "EXT" until you hit play on the master device (in this case cubase)

But in the documentation is not realy clear about that !!!

just one question, when i hit play on cubase the sequencer of the MPC start every time at 001.01.01 !!! do you Know how to avoid that.
