right now i jus usin an mpc but in the short future my setup will be
an mpc
cubase
a midi controller and
a sound module

is it possible to bang the drums and samples out on the mpc then triger the synth so that the midi notes are recorded in cubase then go out of the computer and into the soundmodule so that way i can make corrections on cubase ,and save the sequences on the mpc ,ill prolly have to save the sequence on cubase to iff im not mistaken idunno if this is possible cuz its pretty much usin two sequencers, anyone do this?

You can do all of that, it's just a question of MIDI routing and syncing the two sequencers together. The MPC1000 can do all the MIDI,including sequencing for the sound modules, but MIDI editing will be easier on Cubase, I s'pose.

The MPC1000 records one track at a time via MIDI, so you need to Solo any Cubase MIDI track you're sending to the MPC, send one track only. (Or export a MIDI file to the CF card.)

I found it's a good idea to set the MIDI Thru to "By Track", then the pads (or keys) you hit live will be sent out on the MIDI channel of the Track you've selected on the Main screen = you always know exactly what you're recording into the sequencer. This idea works really well with a keyboard synth too, as long as you set Local Off there.
