Will a CL2 RAM work for my MPC1000 ?

Im about to buy new RAM for my new MPC1000 BK.... I've found Crucial SO-DIMM PC133 256MB CL2 144pin..... its NOT CL3!!??
Will this work or not?????? Whats the difference between CL2 and CL3?

Also i found a used CL3 now BUT its 512mb, what happens if i install a 512mb ram?

It will work it just only see 128mb

Ok, well ONE more question!

Will a CL2 RAM work (what is that?) or must it be a CL3???? Beacuse the seller didnt know if it was CL2 or CL3.... very confusing.

CL2 to be safe

There are very specifc reasons why it needs to be SODIMM PC133 256MB CL3 144pin.
It's based on the what Akai did to the spec.
