I need your input on this

hey everyone,
I am going on tour in a few weeks, and I'm bringing along my mpc1000. I just bought a nice little road ready case for it, so I can have the peace of mind that my machine will be safe from most of the dangers of the road. HOWEVER, I was wondering, and simply asking all of you out there this question: DO YOU THINK THAT PRESSURE BROUGHT ON BY A CLOSED CASE WILL DAMAGE MY PADS ON MY MPC??

I'm thinking it could, but I don't know for sure..... I've heard stories of pads not working anymore and I want to avoid that at all cost, if at all possible.

Lemme hear your advice people, I appreciate the help!

i don t think that a decent constant pressure on the pads will cause any

trouble! pad failure on the blue mpc is caused by faulty pad construction.

dont do it! youll break your pads and then you wont have an mpc to tour with!

umm.. why not just put in a little extra padding right at the corners of the face so that the pressure will be on the case, not the pads. I think a couple pairs of socks could probably do ya.
