I have a question about syncing the MPC1000 and Cubase LE 4. I've followed many intructions from several sources that say pretty much the same thing. I am having a problem locating the midi clock or mmc or mtc setting on my MPC. I've done everything in Cubase that is required but get stuck when I get to the MPC. It hit mode midi sync but can't get it right. I feel a little frustrated becauce I have no help with this.

I did have a problem initially with the Cubase drivers but I downloaded the updated versions. Also, I've gotten error messages in Cubase from time to time, so I don't know if that is contributing to my problem of trying to sync. PLEASE help me someone. THANKS!!!!!

I have MPC1000 syncing with Cubase 4LE. It's easy, but I have it working this way: Cubase is a master, MPC is a Slave. Just connect Midi out of your sound card to the MIDI IN A of the MPC. Then set in MPC: mode > pad9 > F2 > sync in > 1, and in the Cubase: Transport -> Project Synchronization setup > MIDI Timecode & Midi clock destinations set at your midi out connected to mpc, then in player (Cubase) should be switch :SYNC: IDLE (if don't try to click it) and it should work.

Now that I'm synced up, I can play my tracks OK, but I noticed that it plays a little off in Cubase. What I mean is when I play the track on the MPC everything plays perfect...kick snare etc. But, when I play it through Cubase the track is slightly off. I changed the tempo in Cubase to match the track tempo on the MPC like I was supposed to...but it's not on point. What can/should I do? Thanks in advance.
