thats what I was going to ask? Thats one of the things I like about the 1k, being able to take it with you.

I took my mpc1k to a studio and everything went fine. The only problem we had was syncing it up with pro tools, but it was my mp-7's fault. I was using it as a master at the time, but now i use the mpc1k. We got crystal clear sound and a tight product from going. Check it out...........

I don't know, maybe I'm getting too old, or the new generation of beatmakers thinks only about the bling bling.

"BIG TIME STUDIO", hahaha, Pisnooky, if the "BIG TIME STUDIOS" are the reason why you're trying to make beats...........then I really feel sorry for your MPC.

let's all sit down in a circle and have a big laugh about this topic !

lol, you go into your mixer, hit f2, hit what sounds you want from ST to either 1,2 or 3,4. There ya go. And then you pan the sound either to the left or to the right. read the manual.

only four outputs but you can pan a sound hard left to channel L on the main outs and pan another hard right to the R on the main outs and get six outs out of the beast... if you have alot of sounds you can sync with midi and just lay the beat down in two takes or three, whatever you gotta do to get all the sounds in there meng...
