How do I check how much ram is installed?

He says it has the 128mb ram upgrade, how do i confirm this?

I know i check the new pads by moving a pad and seeing if the other ones next to it move. If they do then it has new pads, correct?

Assuming everything is in working order(no hard drive or memory card) 400$ is this a good deal?

Correct. When u boot the mp it reads something like 128mb installed. Easy check up.
If it has the new pads then $400 is definetly a good price
