MPC Only Records MIDI Notes In Record Mode

When I go to record my sequence, the sampled part of the song wont record. My song starts with a sampled piano that goes throughout the song, but when I try to record it, it starts at the snare and never plays the sample... Hope that isnt too confusing.

After a second listen, I believe it is only recording my midi notes. Remember, everything plays fine when in sequence mode, but screws up in record mode
