New member - ? 128ram?

Hey there, just joined the forums ive been lurking around for some time and seems a really good site with heaps of great info.
Ive been playing around with old Boss and Roland drum machines and samplers for a few years and have finally taken the step up to a Black 1000.
Hope to stick around for awhile.

Anyway mines stock and i wondered if anyone has dealings with this bloke off ebay for the Ram

If I read the FAQ correctly, that 128 RAM you linked to is only 59 as far as the MPC 1000 is concerned.

with the 1k if you use aftermarket ram then you need to get a 256mb chip. the 1k only reads 1 bank of chips so if its a 128 card your only going to get 64mb. and 256 will give you the 128 that the system maxs out at. read the ram faq in the stickies for trouble free ram purchases

that seller shouldnt put '1000' in the title of that item. and you should have a look at the sticky.
