hey i have a question again.. im frm germany so the english isnt the best.
i want one sample for example bass, or any drum sound to transpose.. so i can load the sample in my mpc 1000 and make the 16 levels - tune and transpose it. but the quality there is quit bad, so is there another way to do that? somebody tell me that it is better to sample every half tone (semitone), but i dont understand if i only have one sample of a kick (one semitone) how can i create the hole octave? i hope somebody know what i sayin. i want to do with the sample the same thing like it is on the keybord, if it is a help for somebody to understand.. ?

thanks for your help.

what do you mean by "quite bad"? the waveform of a kick is very simple, so there shouldn't be a problem to transpose it. it would be more complicated if you had a piano sample...
