I've been trying to resample then extract my beats from my 1K. I press mode then pad 5(record) switch the top of the screen to Main out then record. nothing. am i doing something wrong? do i need to change audio connection or something? could someone break it down step by step and visually show me the back of their 1K and explain the ports without making feel like a dumbass . I tried to google this but i didn't know how to word it. thank in advance

Nah.......I always see the meter move when it records......Make sure you turn monitor off in the record screen.....
Run the Cable from stereo outs to the sample iin's...its real easy.

I usually have the highest peak of the resample come up to the "C" in "recording"......
Then thro a compressor on it to bring the levels up in what ever program you use....
I like the L3 ultramaximizer ....I get a pretty good sound this way....But its just for ruff drafts.....
STEREO......Not mono...

In the 1000, it is hardwired to resample the main outs without you needing any additional cables. Its already made to record the main outs as long as you select the record main outs option in the sampling screen. Check your manual and read up on the resampling feature. And dont forget to save the new sample/resampled beat. Its basically just like any other sample you use. You have to save it to the CF card FIRST.
