How to change the auto load sounds and programs?

Hello All ! I am new user of the 1000 , I am woundering if I could have my own samples and programs auto load and not the default one's. I found where you can turn the preset off and change where you want the auto load to for sounds. I loaded only one program on the Harddrive and set it to look there, but it won't load. Maybe i am missing something here, So if you know how to do this PLEASE HELP! Thanks in advance!

im assuming that since u wrote this then u obviously have the use of your eyes, i`m also assuming that since u mannaged to write this then there is a good chance you are able to read too!

if were talkin jjos then just create the autoload folder on the root of your drive. then place whatever you want to load in it. go to the load screen and highlight the root of the drive. the aload button will pop up at the bottom of the screen. push it and you can select if you want it turned on or not. and what drive to boot it from.

here is my issue that im tryn to figure out. i just switched over to the jjos 3.08 version and it all seems to work well..... better than the akai os anyway. but the autoload feature?? now is everything in the autoload folder suppose to load automatically when the mpc is powered on?? or just the sounds?? because it seems like the sounds are loading from the folder cause i can see them flash by really quik when the mpc is turned on. then in order to get my saved sequence and program info i have to go in to the load page, select the autoload folder, then hit do it. then it pops right up and i can play my sequence or whatever. so basically when i turn the mpc on, the main screen is like this. in the sequence field it just says "sequence 01" instead of the name of my sequence. and i forget exactly whats in the program field but it doesnt show the name of my program either until i go in to the load page and select the autoload folder, and hit do it. so im either doing something wrong or i think autoload is suppose to do something it doesnt.... any help would be appreciated
